If you are interested in, and able to provide homework assistance, tutoring, arts and crafts, mentoring, or other assistance, please join us!
The program runs during the Loudoun County Public School year, from 3:00 – 6:00 PM Monday through Thursday. Even if you cannot commit to being here every day, any day of the week is helpful. Volunteers must be 16 years of age or older.
We look forward to meeting you!
Friday and Saturday Child Care volunteers
We are in need of volunteers who can help our staff watch children, both inside and outside (in warmer weather), while parents are attending our classes on Friday evenings from 5-7. The classes are held both on site in Sterling and off site in Leesburg (at the Douglas Community Center)
We are also looking for Child care volunteers for Saturday mornings from 10 to 12.
You must pass a criminal and CPS background check if over the age of 18
You are not expected to be there every Friday or Saturday, but we would like to get a rotation of available volunteers.
For our After-School program, we are looking for people that can come help tutor elementary aged kids in reading or math. You need to be available to come to the Center between 4 and 5, on at least one day, Monday through Thursday. Must be 16 years of age or older.
