Center-Based Youth Programs

After-School Program

Our youth programs improve academic achievement and self-esteem.

Grades 1-5

  • 1st through 5th grades
  • Guidance Counselor Referral
  • Monday through Thursday from 3-6 pm throughout the school year
  • Transportation provided for 3 schools with greatest concentration of students
  • Nutritious after-school snacks
  • One on one tutoring
  • Homework help
  • Enrichment activities
    • Science experiments
    • Self-confidence and self-esteem classes
    • Computer/Coding classes
    • Arts and crafts
  • Constructive play time
  • Monthly parent-teacher conferences & group information sessions

Summer Camp 

Grades K-5

  • Six 1-week sessions
  • Provides safe place for children while parents are at work
  • Prevents summer slide
  • Educational and developmental program
    • Reading circle time
    • Arts and crafts
    • STEM activities (science, technology, engineering, and math)
    • Cooking and other fun activities
    • Group games
    • Special visits from community organizations

Saturday STEAM Club

Grades 1-8

  • Saturdays from 10 am to 12 noon
  • Free of charge – registration required
  • Elementary & middle school students
  • Middle school math tutoring
  • Homework assistance
  • Computer lab/coding activities
  • Arts and crafts
  • Lego building and problem-solving games
  • Science experiments
  • Reading circle time
